Important information about transport damage and your goods receipt (VI 03/2025)

A correct and timely damage report is crucial for quick settlement and saves all parties involved unnecessary delays. It enables us to quickly deliver a replacement or find another satisfactory solution.

Therefore, we would like to ask you to:

  • Check the goods for transport damage immediately upon receipt.  
  • Document transport damage on the consignment note.
  • Report transport damage to BÄR immediately after delivery.

This is the only way we can ensure quick and uncomplicated clarification with the transport service provider. We ask for your understanding that we unfortunately cannot accept any subsequent complaints.

Please review your internal processes accordingly and make your receiving staff aware of this issue.
