SmartCharge, the standardised charging system for trailers and semitrailers. Since 2008, the SmartCharge SC-VEHH has been reliably protecting the power supply to Bär Cargolifts (and taillifts from other manufacturers) fitted on towed units thank to the electronical control. The light grey 7-pin plug connection guarantees operational safety through:
- Optimum dimensioning
- Charge current limiting with electronics (short-term 50 A, long-term 30 A)
- Standardised plug connection and PIN assignment (ISO 25981)
- Display of faults in the charging system through flashing signal in the cabin and coded signal at the electronic module
- Waterproof encapsulation (protection class IP 69K)
Furthermore, SmartCharge SC-VEHH enables a checkback signal for displaying the driving position in the cabin in accordance with DIN EN 1756-1. As a standardised plug connection, truck and trailer units can be fitted with SmartCharge on an arbitrary basis.
