This year Bär celebrates its 40th anniversary. Reason enough to look not only back, but also forward. Because our goal is nothing less than to secure the future of the family business - medium-sized, owner-managed, sustainable.
The company's history began in 1981 in Heilbronn, Germany. At our traditional location, we have invested heavily in recent years in our core competence of aluminium machining and in optimizing our (logistics) processes (see VI 06/19). Since a Cargolift is not only made of aluminium, we are now turning to our other materials:
In May 2021, we opened an additional production site in Šiauliai, Lithuania. Bär Baltic Production focuses on the production of sheet metal part and welded assemblies with state-of-the-art machinery. Here we want to build not only the most efficient plant in the industry, but also the most sustainable: already today we can produce our steel welded assemblies there CO2 neutral.
