BÄR is committed to supplying you with products that are not only functionally impressive but also meet your aesthetic requirements. Previously, the use of metal grippers during platform assembly occasionally resulted in superficial scratch marks on the platform tip. Although these had no impact on functionality, they did not meet BÄR's quality standards.
The solution: the platform pin
Thanks to a precise hole in the platform tip, the platform is now held in place form-fit and absolutely securely via a carabiner. After assembly, this opening is closed with a specially manufactured pin.
The platform pin offers you:
- Flawless appearance: No more scratch marks on the platform tip – even on sensitive surfaces (e.g. anodised aluminium).
- Safe handling: Maximum stability during platform production at the factory and during assembly by the body manufacturer or service partner.
- Standard scope of delivery: Since 1 January 2026, the platform pin has been an integral part of every platform delivery – body manufacturers will find it in the assembly material for Standard Cargolifts.
